The happenings of Saturday August 10, 2024 through Wednesday August 14, 2024 in London, England

We went to the Royal Air Force Museum and then went to Carine’s and Simo’s house.😎The Royal Air Force Museum is a museum that talks about the Royal Air Force, which is the United Kingdom’s air defense system. We read about airplanes and jet fighters. It was really cool then we went on the airplanes. I also learned this dance called the Charleston. Then, we went to another part of the museum and we played a game to test if you would make a good pilot. Then when we finished it showed us on the leaderboard my brother was first and I was seventh. We also saw a show that taught us about female trailblazers like Amelia Earhart and Bessie Coleman. Then, after all that we went to Carine’s and Simo’s house. And ate dinner and went to bed. The next day we woke up and had breakfast but I was tired and hungry and there was nothing I wanted. (Okay, i’ll admit I am one of the pickiest eaters on earth.) Anyways, we walked to the tube which is a fancy way of saying the London Underground Leicester square but something caught our eye it was, hmmmmmmmm should I tell you eh I guess I will, it was a LEGO STORE!!!!!!!!!!! Yay so we asked if we could go to the Lego store and our mom said yes. (Only our mom said yes because our dad wasn’t with us.)

The Lego store had Lego bricks on the outside and normal bricks on the inside. There was a lego Lamborghini, the Big Ben, spider man, there was even Peely from Fortnite and lots of other things you could also make things out of Lego. I made a guy holding a sword and eating a baguette. Then we caught our bus and went up the stairs to the available chairs, we skipped a few of the stops then got off at St. Paul Cathedral. We looked around then went in. “Woah” we all said at once. Then the twins left because they were bored but we stayed and took pictures then went out and waited for the other dudes on the bus to be done. When everyone on the bus was done, then we went onto the bus and waited for the rest of the group to come on the bus. While we were waiting for the next stop we were looking around our eyes darting to the side. Then suddenly the bus stopped and we arrived at our stop, we got off and walked straight for a few minutes then we saw cue dramatic music, a gelato place!!!!!!!! “Can we go there pleeeeeease” we all begged our mom. “Okay,” our mom said. “Yay!” we all screamed excitedly. My brother, Matanel, got chocolate, Amichai got stracciatella, Shai got stracciatella, and I got caramel. All of our gelatos came with weird chocolate rolls inside. The gelato was so awesome. When we finished our gelato we all had to pee so we went to the bathroom at the gelato place. That gelato made me super happy. “Mmmmmmmmm.” We sighed contentedly. After the gelato we took the bus back to Carine’s house and chilled. Finally, we brushed our teeth and went to bed.

The following day, it was Tisha B’Av and my mom gave us these thingamajiggies that told us about Tisha B’Av. It said that you fast on Tisha B’Av because the Beit Hamikdash was destroyed by the Babylonians and then later the Romans. That afternoon, Simo came and he said, “Yo dudes! You want to play at the park?” And we were like, “Oh yeah!” As we were walking, we got a soccer ball from these nice strangers and we decided to play soccer with it at the park. We first played pass the soccer ball around, but you couldn’t use your hands and Simo was supa good at it. He could keep it in the air for like forever. After playing, Amichai and I started passing the soccer ball while Matanel and Shai played on the playground. Then Amichai and I took turns trying to be like Simo and be crazy at life. I cooked at it. I even could kick the ball seven times in the air without it touching the ground. I did it twice and Amichai got six. He did it twice, too. Then Amichai and I hurried off to the exercise place at the playground. Simo unlocked these not heavy weights for us. They were twenty pounds and I could lift them. Then I did some push-ups and sit ups. Then we headed back towards Carine’s home. After we got there my parents booked us a new Airbnb, so while Carine was driving the twins to the Airbnb, Amichai and I watched motorcycle racing. We were like, “Oh yeah, Boshkovitz! He’s cooking!” (That was one of the racers.)

Our new Airbnb was in Finchley. The next day we did school and went to the British Museum and my dad met us at the British Museum. “Hey Daddy!” We all said. “Hi. He said back. And then we walked into the British Museum. “Olalah” we all said amazed. We walked through things hundreds of years old. There was a desk with a person behind it. And the dude gave us maps of the museum, and also gave us a scavenger hunt for the museum. Then we walked to the actual entrance. We walked through priceless artifacts and searching for the stuff on the scavenger hunt. “Ooh! There’s one!” “Hey, there’s another!” My brothers and I noticed the artifacts on the scavenger hunt. Then we walked into a room with a bunch of stuff that the British stole. We also even saw the Rosetta Stone. There were hieroglyphics on the columns in the Egyptian Room. We also saw mummies and they look like the guys in Pompei that were covered in ash. It was cool. Then we left the Egyptian room and went to the final room - the Greeky Room. It was super cool with Greek guys and naked guys because that’s what Greece is all about.

We left and went outside. My mom called my friend Aviv and I was like, “Hey Dude!” And he was like, “Eitan!” We talked like crazy and I told him I was at the British Museum. But then I had to give the phone to Matanel and Shai because Aviv has a younger sister that’s friends with them. We saw this guy setting up a stand and the stand was a food stand. “Ooh! That guy’s selling carmelized peanuts.” “I want to try one!” So Amichai and I walked with our mom to the food stand so my mom bought them and we said, “oohlala yummy yummy in my tummy.” And then we bought a good amount of the peanuts because they were good. Then we hitched on the tube which is the underground subway in London. We rode the tube to get yummy kosher pizza. It was yummy. After the pizza we went home for about an hour to get changed for a musical.

It was not any musical. It was the MJ Musical as in the Michael Jackson Musical. We hopped on a bus to get to the tube that would bring us to the MJ Musical. When we got there, we waited in line to go to our seats. We could also see the actors getting warmed up. The musical started, the lights dimmed, and Michael Jackson (not actually Michael Jackson but a dude who is playing Michael Jackson as a kid) and he said “Hi,” We’re going to be doing the Michael Jackson show and then everyone started cheering. And then it started.
