Reflections regarding Sunday August 4, 2024 in Edinburgh, Scotland

When we went to Scotland we went at the perfect time, we went during the Fringe Festival. The Fringe Festival is a month-long festival in August that has hundreds of spectacular shows. We saw a show called the 360 Show. When we saw the posters for the show we thought that it would be a BMX show because there was a BMX biker doing a trick on the poster. While we were waiting in line, my dad went to buy us ice cream because we were going to die of starvation. After a while, he came running back with gooey, melted ice cream all over his hands, but it still tasted really good. Then, we waited in line for an eternity until we finally entered the theater.

The lights were kind of dark so our eyes had to adjust before we found our seats. After a few minutes, the lights started to dim. The show was starting!!! The show started by introducing all of the people. First, there was a BMX Biker that did really insane tricks on his bike. Then, there were two really good break dancers that could spin on their heads. There was a really incredible basketball freestyler and a guy that stood in a giant Hula Hoop that could spin upside down. When all of the performers finished introducing themselves, they came out one by one to do their tricks.

First, was the BMX Biker who rode on to the stage and started doing a handstand on the seat of the bike. Then, he used his feet to steer and his hands to pedal, I thought he was going to fall off. He also did a wheelie that was impossibly long before he rode off stage. Next, the two break dancers came on the stage. One was dressed in all blue and the other in all red. They had a breakdancing battle. It was really impressive, and loud. Everyone was yelling and cheering. The breakdancers took turns dancing. First, the one dressed in all red came up and started doing backflips and spinning on his head. He also did a double backflip. Then, the one in all blue came up and did some flips and a one armed handstand, he also did a triple back handspring.

They took turns doing crazy tricks for a while and then the basketball guy came on stage.

The basketball guy started by doing some basic tricks like spinning the ball on his finger. After that, he started doing super hard stuff like spinning the ball on his fingers while throwing it in the air, and juggling two basketballs. The crowd was chanting for him to juggle three basketballs but instead he juggled four!!!! He also did an around the world and he balanced the ball on his sunglasses while spinning it. Next, he threw all the balls into the air and caught them. Last, was the person in the giant Hula Hoop which is actually called a Cyr Wheel. It's basically a giant Hula Hoop that you stand in and spin upside down in. He spun around the stage and did this really cool trick, where he got really low to the ground and then pulled himself back up without stopping or touching the ground.

After he finished his act all of the performers came on to the stage and tried doing each other's tricks. They failed really hard. It was really funny. The show was over. Everybody clapped very loudly. We made our way out of the building and went to a ramen place. It tasted delicious. Finally, we went to our hotel to get some sleep after a long day.
